I’m proud to
announce that from the present time I will be playing Agean Cymbals
exclusively, thanks to my dear friend Behnan Gocmez. I am very fond of their way of producing
top-quality cymbals with a unique sound.
My
name has appeared alongside another brand of cymbals, but I would like to
take this opportunity to point out I have nothing to do with this and that
it's offensive to me that they haven't taken away my picture,...
New videos (including an
Agean promo video) and audiofiles have been uploaded on my Myspace.
Together with Frans Vollink & Marc Guillermont, we have been
working hard in my studio on recording the basic tracks of our debut trio
album. Everything turned out really great so we are very excited to release
this (hopefully end of summer 2008). We're booking gigs for this trio as
well, so stay tuned!

In addition to

I have recently created a
blogspot, where
you can find some extra information about me including some tips en
exercises on playing the brushes. I started this for my students in London,
but I thought it might actually be helpful for other drummers too.
Recently I've started
teaching at Westminster University, Goldsmiths
University & The Royal Academy of Music
in London.
The gigs with my
own Quartet; featuring Gary Willis, Gerard Presencer
and Rob van Bavel were also a big success!
